Online Booking for Golf Tee Times
Starting in 2024, booking online is the only way to book your tee time. While about 80% of our tee times were booked online in 2023, we know that this might be a big change for the other 20% of our golfers who have never booked online before. Don't worry! We're here to help. We've put this page together to help you understand the reasons behind the change, and to give you practical information to help you complete your booking.
Step one is to read through the Frequently Asked Questions on this page, plus the link below to our online booking partner, Tee-On. If you don't find the answers you're looking for here, then just email us your questions at [email protected] and we'll do our best to help.

BOOKING FAQ
FIRST THINGS FIRST: WHAT IS A TEE TIME?
A tee time is essentially a reservation to play golf, much like you need a reservation to secure a table at a busy restaurant, a seat on a plane, or a concert ticket. Your tee time is the time of day that you will be on the first tee, ready to tee off to start your golf round. Tee time reservations allow us to manage the flow of golfers around the golf course, and are set every 9 minutes (which means it should take about 9 minutes to play each hole, as there are golfers teeing off every 9 minutes after your group starts playing). Remember: Your tee time is when you tee off, so plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your tee time to give you enough time to check in and get to the first tee.
WHY ARE TEE TIMES MANDATORY?
Booking a tee time locks in your reservation to golf. If you show up without a tee time, that means our staff are not expecting you, and we may not have an available tee time for you to use, particularly on busy days.
WHY DO I HAVE TO BOOK ONLINE? WHY CAN'T I JUST CALL THE PRO SHOP?
Starting in 2024, tee times can ONLY be booked online. Booking your tee time online puts YOU in control. Online booking eliminates the human error that can happen over a phone call. At the end of your online booking, you'll receive an automated confirmation email to give you peace of mind about the date and time of your booking, as well as how many golfers you've booked, so you have all the details in writing and you can add it to your calendar.
WHY DO I HAVE TO GIVE MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER?
Your credit card number secures your booking. Your credit card is NOT charged at the time of booking. Since we don't take payment in advance, you will pay for your golf when you arrive and check in at the pro shop desk. Credit card numbers taken during booking are ONLY used in the case of no shows and short shows (more on this below). Weekday and 7-Day club members are not required to provide a credit card number, as long as they are using their member login to book online.
CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY TEE TIME?
Yes! YOU are in charge of your tee time, and you can make changes to it very easily, and with very little notice. You can cancel or modify your tee time ANY TIME, 24 hours a day after you book it, and even as little as ONE HOUR in advance, with NO PENALTY. We realize the online booking process is new to a lot of our golfers in 2024, so we want to make it as painless as possible for you to change your plans, which is why we're providing such a short cancellation window this year (lots of courses require you to cancel or change a tee time 24 or even 48 hours in advance!) To cancel, change your time, add or remove golfers, simply click the green Book a Tee Time button above and log in. Then you'll click on MENU, and then Edit a Reservation to make the changes you need.
WHAT IF I'M LATE TO MY TEE TIME?
Just like you, we run late sometimes too. The best thing to do if you're running late is to move your tee time to another available time later in the day. You can do this as little as ONE HOUR in advance, with NO PENALTY. To modify your time, click the Book a Tee Time button above, click on MENU, and then Edit a Reservation. (If you decide to show up to the course late, without modifying it online, we will do our best to get you out golfing, but remember, we held your reservation time specifically for you and we can't promise to get you out on a particularly busy day.)
WHAT IF I MISS MY TEE TIME? ("NO SHOW")
If you miss your tee time, your credit card on file will be charged the regular green fee rate for the number of golfers that you booked. Remember: YOU are in control of this, and you can avoid being charged simply by cancelling your tee time online.
WHAT IF SOME OF MY GOLFING PARTNERS CAN'T MAKE IT? ("SHORT SHOW")
If one or more of your booked golfers don't show up, your credit card on file will be charged the regular green fee rate for the absent golfer(s). Broken record alert: YOU are in control of your tee time. You can avoid being charged simply by modifying your reservation and removing the golfer(s) who will not be playing. (Here's a tip: If you golf with a friend who is notoriously bad at showing up, put them in charge of their own reservation! Tell them when you are booking for and have them book themselves into the same tee time, with their own credit card. Then they can cancel themselves if they can't make it.)
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD? IS MY TEE TIME AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED?
No, your tee time is NOT automatically cancelled if it's raining or otherwise bad weather. Weather can vary significantly around the Niagara escarpment, so while it may be raining at your house, it may be sunny here at the course. If you decide not to golf due to the weather, please remember that if you're holding a tee time that you won't use, no one else can use that time. Please get in the habit of cancelling your tee time if you're not going to use it, weather-related or otherwise.
WHY DO YOU CHARGE ME IF I DON'T SHOW UP?
Remember: When you book a tee time, we hold that time specifically FOR YOU. Once that time has passed, if you don't show up, no one else can use it. It's gone. We've been very lenient on this in the past, but that has resulted in a 15% no-show rate over the past few years, meaning 15% of our tee times have gone to waste. HOWEVER - we have faith that YOU, our golfers, can help us improve! Having our golfers take responsibility for the time they booked, by showing up on time AND with the number of golfers booked is the best way to keep the course running smoothly. Providing your credit card number means you are taking your booking seriously. We have confidence that by putting YOU in control of YOUR TEE TIME, that we'll be able to provide an even better experience for everyone - our staff and all our other golfers included.
WHAT HAPPENS IF CLUB MEMBERS NO-SHOW OR SHORT-SHOW?
We don't take credit card numbers for our club members because our club members are like family! We expect that our members will book in good faith, meaning they will show up on time, arrive with the number of golfers they booked, and cancel a tee time that will go unused. Unfortunately in the past, about 5% of our members have had trouble with this, so to try to improve, we're implementing a "2 Strike" policy for club members. After 2 no-shows or short-shows, the club member will lose their playing privileges for 2 weeks. Our goal, with your help, is to get our member no-show and short-show rate to 0%!
I'M A LEAGUE PLAYER. DO I NEED TO BOOK ONLINE?
That depends on your league. In 2024, the Wednesday Ladies and Thursday Men are the only leagues that must book a tee time online and are subject to the booking policies above. All other leagues are either a shotgun start (Monday Ladies, Tuesday Seniors, Friday Sr. Men) or have reserved tee times (Tuesday Ladies). That said, once the league season officially ends in October, if you want to keep playing, you must book a tee time online. (And of course, if you ever want to play outside of your league time, you must book a tee time online for that.)
