HOW BIG ARE THE CLASSES?
We maintain small class sizes, with a max 6:1 instructor ratio. Sessions require at least 4 participants to proceed. You will be notified and fees will be refunded in full if there is insufficient registration and a class cannot proceed.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Yes, weather happens! Lessons are held rain or shine! Make sure to dress for the weather. In case of severe inclement weather (thunder or lightning), lessons will take place under cover or in our indoor training facility.
WHERE DO LESSONS TAKE PLACE?
On your first day, you’ll meet your coach right outside the pro shop door. Lessons will take place mainly on the private driving range tee near the pro shop, the short game practice area and practice greens, and once in a while on the golf course. Your coach will let you know the location from week to week.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
All participants must have their own clubs. Rental or loaner clubs are not available. Balls and tees are provided. Adult club sets are often available for sale in the pro shop, while supplies last. As an alternative, inexpensive used clubs can often be found locally on Facebook Marketplace or Kijiji.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing. Collared shirts are great if you like them, but definitely not required. Footwear can be running shoes or golf shoes with soft spikes. Soccer cleats, baseball shoes, and metal spikes are not permitted to avoid damage to the greens. Don’t forget a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, and a positive attitude!
WHAT IF I HAVE TO MISS A LESSON?
There are no makeup lessons. If you need to miss a lesson, that’s ok, and it’s helpful if you can let your coach know if you’ll be away. Coaches will do their best to catch you up during the next lesson if you’ve been absent.
IS THERE A WAIT LIST IF A CLASS IS FULL?
If your preferred class is sold out, your best bet is to see if the class is available on a different day or at a different time. If not, you can email us at [email protected] to be added to a wait list. Make sure to include the specific class you wish to be waitlisted for. You will be contacted only if a space opens up.
CAN I GET A REFUND IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
We know life is full of surprises! But we also have obligations to our staff, and to others who are interested in registering for classes. If you need to cancel a registration, your fees may be refunded if requested via email to [email protected] more than 14 days prior to first lesson, and are subject to a $25 administration fee. Fees become non-refundable 14 days prior to first lesson.
DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE LESSONS?
For individual instruction, private lessons can be arranged. Click here to read about our amazing coaches and get in contact.
