FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Do I need discs? Yes! Each player needs at least one disc to play. Beginners may wish to try playing with just a putter disc. We have a limited number of rental discs on hand so we recommend bringing your own. We rent single discs for a $2.50+HST and they are first come, first served. If you wish to play with more than the single rental discs, please bring your own set. We also often have some Innova starter 3-disc sets available for purchase while supplies are in stock.
Do we have to play as a foursome? Foursomes are ideal, but you can play with fewer than four, or up to 6 or even 8 in a group. (Remember that it can slow things down when you play as a bigger group, so please be mindful and let groups behind you play through if you are playing as a bigger group.)
How long does it take to play disc golf? Speed of play depends on your group, and whether you walk or run the course. Generally speaking it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to play the 9 hole course. Double that time if you want to play the course twice for the full 18-hole experience.
Do we need a tee time or reservation? We do not take tee times for disc golf. Dates and times are listed above when the course is reserved for a private event. The course will be closed to the public during these times. Outside of the reserved times listed above, the disc golf course is open to the public during regular business hours, so just come over, check in and pay your fees at the pro shop desk, and play!
Can I use a power cart for disc golf? Power carts are not permitted on the disc golf course.
What are the distances? Our course is a 9-hole, par 27 Aceplace disc golf course. With your paid fee, you can play the course twice in a row if you'd like to get the full 18 hole, par 54 Aceplace experience!
Is there a scorecard and a course map? As a brand new course, we're working on getting our scorecards designed and printed. Till then, you can keep score on the footgolf scorecard! To play, you'll follow the blue signs and baskets to make your way around the course.
Can I bring food? Outside food is not permitted. Click here for our snack bar menu.
What about alcohol? We're fully licensed by the ACGO, so all alcohol consumed on our property must be purchased in our clubhouse. Outside alcohol is prohibited on our property according to Ontario liquor laws. Prepare to have outside alcohol discarded. (Better yet, just leave it at home!)
